there are no files needed in /var/cache/yum
otherwise a blank install would not work and
all my test and production servers would be
damaged since years
cache is what it is - a cache
It seems to be fine with the cache from 17 moved out of the way :)
One question that just occurred to me when looking at [1]: Do I need to
do anything about grub? Yum says the version from Fedora 18 is
installed, so I should be fine?
