Sam,
I tried to reply to you privately about this, but your mail system
rejected it.
I'm afraid creating that little file had no effect on my touchpad. I
can disable the touchpad in Windows with a BIOS setting, but F30
doesn't seem to care.
This disables the click-to-tap, not the entire touchpad. I found this to be
the biggest annoyance with touchpads.
There's likely a way to do this, just have to read through the entire,
massive, xorg.conf man page. Someone on x.org's mailing list would probably
be able to point you in the right direction much faster than anyone here.

Your Internet provider's mail server, that attempted to send your message
from IP address 208.70.211.20, claimed that it's really "asp.reflexion.net",
which is a completely different IP address. No sale. In any case, this is of
general knowledge that's useful to be discussed publicly.
