Hi,
I'm relatively (g)new to Linux.
Few days ago I've made an upgrade to KDE 3.4 of my Fedora box, by

exactly. you dont use the nodeps and force switches unless you have
enough expertise and you are really really sure you need that
Alternatively, how can I unistall all the kde packages (with
dependency
packages such qt) in a clean way?
try yum remove kdebase. you need to have another DE like gnome or know
to work in the command line using yum to install stuff back
