I found "xfce4-sensors-plugin" which appears to be workingand doing what I
need. I was not able to get the gkrellm sensors display to work.
This is a new motherboard, cpu, etc, and I needed to check temperatures ...
The plugin uses libsensors.so and the display I get is
just the cpu temperatures. The program "sensors" from
package "lm_sensors" shows considerably more including
other MB temperatures and fan speeds. It is a single
reading though. I run it out of my crontab to serve
as a "system health" log.
xsensors is another alternative to your plugin.
I hope your problem is not an F29 one. I've not updated
yet and I routinely use gkrellm. The developer of gkrellm
is quite responsive to queries.
