X.org seems OK.
What the output of:
$ /sbin/lsmod | grep nouveau
If it's not empty, add rdblacklist=nouveau to each kernel line inside
your /etc/grub.conf:
E.g. Change:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64 ro root=... rhgb quiet
To:
kernel /vmlinuz-2.6.32.11-99.fc12.x86_64 ro root=... rhgb quiet rdblacklist=nouveau

I see (in another message) that you've added black listed nouveau.
However, please check (using lsmod) that the module is not being loaded
by someone - just in case.
Assuming that the nouveau driver isn't loaded, you'll have to post a
message in nvnews [1] Linux support forum. Maybe someone there (nVidia
rep?) can help you.
