Install VLC on the linux machine, set it up to do remote streaming, then install VLC on the Air, and have it connect to that stream. It's been a while since I've done that, but I think I remember writing a shell script to use the CLI version of VLC to open the DVD and start streaming it. Hello,
I want to be able to connect to my Linux desktop from my Macbook Air, in order to warch DVDs. VNC works, but as it doesn't support sound, this is not too useful.
Is there an alternative that will give me sound too?
