Using Gnome on FC5 the normal behaviour is that when you insert a
data cd it is mounted under /media/<volumename>. Personally I
find this a little inconvenient, but it's not impossible to work with.
Does this not happen for you?

Well I was wrong. Audio disk are automounted but I am not sure where.
Data disks are not. They have to be explicitly mounted. If your data
disk are automunted I would like to know how. Especially if this happens
by default.
