d. customizing wget
Thank you for the response, let try rss2email....it seems quite simple
enough. (I don't have any apache server at the moment).

That won't work. There is owl and there are others. One
approach that gives you total control is to create a
drupal site on the local machine and use the aggregator or
feedapi modules. My production web site is largely built
using feedapi and has about 600 RSS feeds without barfing.
