Thanks for that information! I was looking for "the right place" too, to
run schedtool on every login.
Somehow I've got the order of things wrong: the latest schedtool-version
is 1.2.7, not 1.1.2:
http://freequaos.host.sk/schedtool/schedtool-1.2.7.tar.bz2
Furthermore I have made an RPM for schedtool. You can get the SRPM here:
http://www.noltec.org/free/misc/schedtool-1.2.7-1.fc6.nol.src.rpm
http://www.noltec.org/free/misc/schedtool.spec
For the impatient, the RPM is also there:
http://www.noltec.org/free/misc/schedtool-1.2.7-1.fc6.nol.i386.rpm
Have fun!

Thanks.
Could you explain how you use this tool to give highest priority to X
and how yçou can script this to run it on every login.
Thanks
