Thanks Craig, right now I'm trying to work out an alternative for
installation. The last one got to 75% and hung there for two days. I'm
going to see if I can find a site that has the install set up so I can
burn the whole os files to several CDs and do it that way.

I suspect that you might need my xorg.conf file (I've got a few of them
for iMac G3's) as I had to work out issues with the display and there
are iMac G3's with different video cards. If you have trouble getting X
started after install, be sure to sound off to the list.
