#kill -s SIGUSR1 xxxx
xxxx is to be replaced with the pid of cpuspeed.
#ps ax | grep cpuspeed
I had to manually start cpuspeed because for some reason it wouldn't
start (even though it said it had) from s-c-s.
#cpuspeed -d
