I'm' not a network expert, and others will probably correct me if I am
wrong, but I think it is unusual or even plain wrong to have an IP
address (inet addr) ending in .0. The last number should be between 1
and 254. Did you set this yourself, or was it allocated by DHCP?
Actually depending on the subnet mask an IP address ending in 0 can be
correct and valid. Looks real strange but it will work with the correct
subnet masking.
In the case above however you are correct, a 24 bit subnet mask
(255.255.255.0) defines the networks address of 192.168.32.0, the
broadcast of 192.168.32.255, which means valid host addresses will be in
the range of 192.168.32.1 to 192.168.32.254.
