$ readlink -f /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/libjavaplugin.so /usr/lib64/IcedTeaPlugin.so
Okay, looks like your alternatives are set correctly. In firefox, what does about:plugins say?
Following are the links to screen shots related to icetea in about:plugins in ff
https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B9BQvR150Z2zMFFiVEpzT05IQzg https://docs.google.com/open?id=0B9BQvR150Z2zeFVRTjRXMmZGT28
I think you need to share them publicly. It says I don't have access.
Which applet are you trying to load btw?
I tried several, none works, http://kalpapathum.blogspot.com/2007/11/simple-java-applet.html
That one does not work for me either. The error is:
Exception in thread "Applet" java.lang.ClassFormatError: Incompatible magic value 1011373133 in class file RGBApplet
Seem like an error in the way the .class file was compiled.
I cannot get this work even
Ah okay, so let's see if firefox even sees a plugin -- can you make the screenshots public so I can take a look?
Sorry, I though they are public already. Now it should be ok. Please check

Deepak
That one does work for me.
