Hi all.
I am trying to turn a fully patched 2.6.11-1.1369_FC4 x86_64 machine into a NIS slave server, binding to either a Solaris 7 or FC2 servers. I reinstalled (yum) ypbind and yp-tools, but I get the same error. I also tried starting ypxfrd locally. Has anybody a clue? The error messages from xfrd are shown below.

File a bug with this output and the exact version information. This is a memory handling problem in ypxfr. You can try to ignore it by defining
MALLOC_CHECK_=0
in your environment. But this is not guaranteed to work. There is a bug in the code which might affect the remainder of the program run.
Hi
I defined MALLOC_CHECK_=0 and MALLOC_CHECK=0 and it didn't work. Sorry but what do you mean by "file a bug"? Thanks
