Another Question....

Ok so here's another issue I've recently come across, wonder if anyone 
has info on this: I have a Gateway T6321 laptop and it's running my 
Fedora 17 just fine, I recently noticed my BIOS for this laptop was 
OLD...(1998! I think!) and I was wondering how do I go about installing 
the BIOS update from the Gateway site? It's a zip file but I don't know 
where to unzip it to!...help!

Ok....well I guess I would have to agree with you,....since everything 
IS working fine and proper, then I really shouldn't get under the hood 
and muck around with things that are running smoothly! Thanks for the 
advice!

   never update the system BIOS  just to keep it up, unless one is
experiencing problems.
   a failed BIOS update can render a system unbootable, making it a
giant paper weight, until the BIOS is repaired
