Is there a better system monitor applet then one that is included in Fedora? I would like one that is a little more configurable and provides more information.
Thanks!

Do you want it to show the information on the taskbar?
If not, have you tried KDE System Guard (included with FC1). That's what I use. Seems to have lots of bells, whistles, and graphs. :) And a process killer, which is handy, since I tend to run a lot of apps at once, and some of them don't like me.

I think gkrellm is pretty informative. There are about a "bazillion" skins for it, and among the data it can provide is weather, if you install the plug-in.
It's been a while since I installed the weather plugin, but I believe it may be as easy as:
# yum install gkrellm-weather
At any rate, I just installed all that yum could install for gkrellm with:
# yum install gkrellm*
gkrellm's a nice piece of informative eye candy for the desktop!
