Using GTK based apps on F10 - e.g. firefox, gimp etc -
when i save a
file and click the "Create Directory" button, the
directory is created,
but the working directory does not change to it. On F9
and earlier the
working directory used to change as well. Is it
possible to get the old
behaviour back?
Yes this behaviour happens in F10 with Firefox. It is fixed in F11.
It never made sense to me.
F10 File - save as - create folder - go find it - double click it - enter
F11 File - save as - create folder - enter

Thanks for the replies. I upgraded my laptop to F11 over the weekend and confirm that this annoyance has gone.
