Under KDE on FC4, is there a shell command that will create a Shell - Konsole just as if I clicked:
<Red Hat> -> System Tools -> Terminal ?
Thanks, Mike.

Yes, this is what I need. Thanks. Mike.

Well that explains why you might bother using the mouse to pop open a text entry command tool... Still if you have a window maximized, wouldn't you need to get it out of the way before you can click on the desktop?
Anyhow Alt-F2 is the default shortcut for the run command so I figured I could wait till someone said it didn't work on their computer to tell them how to fire up kcontrol, select keyboard shortcuts, and assign a global shortcut key that they like to the run command...
Have a nice day!

Actually, I'm using Katapult as a fast launch. Just Alt-Space -> Kon -> Enter and you're done.
