Hello, I tried to install FC5 kernel source package so that I can recompile the kernel. But when I used rpm -qa | grep kernel , I could not see the kernel source. Then I used yum localinstall but it also failed. Can someone tell me what I can do about it. Thanks

source rpms are not shown in rpm -qa output but there are installed to /usr/src/redhat/*

kernel source are no more packaged as an i386.rpm package. You have to install the src.rpm package. I'm still on FC4, but have a look on Fedora documention: /usr/share/doc/HTML/index.html
