Hi,
sorry for a localized question, but I've configured a box with fr-latin9 and the accents doesn't seem to be good displayed (mode console initlevel 3). any ideas ?
Best regards

Latin-9 is another name of ISO-8859-15. This is the best-to-use signle-byte encoding for France today. You can get an appropriate locale by using
fr_FR@euro
for LC_ALL or LANG or whatever you use.
Thanks a lot for your answer. Where is the best place to setup the LANG environment variable ?

For the entire system? /etc/sysconfig/i18n
There should be a value already there.
Hope this helps,
James.
