Thank Richard,
Is librecad srpm available somewhere? The bad thing with qcad is that runiing from a remote machine (fedora 18) it even kill the local fedora 20 session!! Why that?
I also tried FreeCAD, but my dxf files seem to be barely compatible. I even cannot get the font displyed!
Without specifics I don't even know if the situation is different now with
the 3.X releases. If LibreCAD is a good replacement then there may be no point.
Are the librecad and qcad library compatible?
Why librecad is not offered in the fedora distribution? I tried to installed it from the librecad website, but I failed:
Packages skipped because of dependency problems: librecad-2.0.0-1.1.i686 from /librecad-2.0.0-1.1.i686
LibreCAD has been accepted into Fedora but Spot has not done any builds (or checked anything in) so I pulled the last SRPM from the Review Request[1] and built it. I could only test over remote X11 right now but it seems to work.
Richard
