Just installed F29 last night on one of my machines and found that the "alt-tab" switching within gnome is no longer working.
The way I had it working in F28 was it cycled between every program open (not program groups) and I would like the same behavior again.
It is possible I had a plugin installed before which may no longer be compatible but I do not know if this is the case.
Pointers and a direction to start would be appreciated.
Thanks, Jeff

You must have an extension for that. Use the Gnome tweak tool to check if you have an extension that isn't enabled or needs updating.

Bingo, had an extension, which is now disabled. I have also adjusted the keyboard shortcuts to do what I want

Its possible you were using the alternative tab extension, but it turns out you don't need it anymore:

That's nice to know. Unfortunately, the single workspace switching is still only accessible using dconf (or an extension).

Yeah, there's an extension to do that. Update the extension. Note that if you have the extension installed as an RPM and _also_ in your home directory, the home directory version wins *even if it's older*. (I ran into this!)
