How do I send smolt profile?

Dear all,

I have installed Fedora 7 on two of my machines.  I did not enable smolt because it would
not send anything due to no internet connection available( had to configure the winmodem )
after which there is a connection.  I know that smolt is a service in /etc/rc.d/init.d/

In both compuers it is turned off
smolt           0:off   1:off   2:off   3:off   4:off   5:off   6:off

If I leave it off, how can I send in smolt profile for my two computers manually?
or
Do I have to turn service on and it will do its job on its own? 

[olivares@localhost ~]$ smolt --help
bash: smolt: command not found
[olivares@localhost ~]$ su -
Password: 
[root@localhost ~]# smolt --help
-bash: smolt: command not found
[root@localhost ~]# man smolt
No manual entry for smolt
[root@localhost ~]#

Various ways to find out what to do...

First, tab is your friend

type smolt then hit tab - This will tell you the commands

localhost ~ > smolt
smoltDeleteProfile  smoltSendProfile

exists. Alternately,

>  locate smolt 
says the same thing

smoltSendProfile is what you need, or to delete a profile smoltDeleteProfile. 
Tip: when you typed smolt, hit the tab key (auto-completion) and it will show 
the options.

If you leave it on, periodically it does its trick.  The init file
mentions doing it monthly.

I'm not sure that I see the value in that.  I allowed mine to send its
info once, for the benefit of someone other than myself.  e.g. Install
stats and records of hardware.  Though there really needs to be some
sort of follow up that says whether that hardware was usable or not.
But I turned off the service.  I don't really want services running on
my systems that I don't need.

The value is that Fedora Project can learn more about some patterns. For 
example, smolt sends the current running kernel and we can find out how 
many people are updating their boxes overall.
