hi all, this is my first mail, 1 month back i installed fedora core 6 its great and full by changes but what i found real change the Xwindow system it is something really coool, I found it very difficult to configure the DNS & DHCP , my question is this difficulty with me only and if I want to learn some configuration what is the best way

What do you want to do? Set up DNS and DHCP servers for a network or jsut to configue your nic (nic=networt interface card)?
am very sorry i make it complex my question is 1 why fedora not have #netconfig command, because i feel it make easier to configure the nic
and hwo i can learn some of network configuration all regards

Try "system-config-network-tui" as root.

Try "system-config-network-tui" as root.
Not knowing what the original poster gets with "netconfig" there's also "setup" and /sbin/ifconfig and graphical network configuration (drop the "-tui" from Vivek's suggestion).
