Before I spend inordinate amounts of time on this, has anyone else encountered dnfdragora freezing or crashing since upgrading a machine from f31 to f32? This is when starting it as a normal user.
I have 2 machines that his happens on and one that does not.
On the first machine, if I run from the command line I'm seeing the message
Get root backend. Locked (False) /usr/lib64/python3.8/site-packages/yui.py:1472: Warning: Source ID 582 was not found when attempting to remove it return _yui.YDialog_waitForEvent(self, timeout_millisec)
repeatedly when the GUI goes non-responsive. The "Source ID " value increases but not monotonically. No caching occurs and the same message just scrolls by. The GUI "Quit" button does work.
If I run from the command line as a login root user (su -) the only message I see is the "Get root backend...." message but the behaviour is the same.
On another machine, if I start as a normal user the caching proceeds but when it is done the GUI disappears and the transcript shows
Unexpected error: <class 'KeyError'>
When I run in a login terminal (su -) it seems to work fine (I do see a couple of the "Get root backend..." messages but eventually caching finishes and I see the expected list of update packages).
dnf update or dnf upgrade still works as expected on both machines.
Any insight, suggestions, or debugging ideas appreciated.
The current version of dnfdragora has been crashing for me for about a week. Not wanting to investigate further, I downgraded to dnfdragora-1.1.1-6.fc32.noarch.rpm which still works

Thank you, Steven. I'll give that a shot and report back.

Steven, I've checked all the locations I know of and using the techniques I'm aware of but I don't seem to be able to locate dnfdragora-1.1.1-6.fc32.noarch.rpm All I turn up for F32 is dnfdragora-2.0.0-2.fc32.noarch.rpm
When I checked FC31 it only showed dnfdragora-1.1.1-3.fc31.noarch.rpm
Do you have a location where I can find dnfdragora-1.1.1-6.fc32.noarch.rpm
Thanks for your time.

Thank you, Steven and Antonio.
Downgrading to dnfdragora-1.1.1-6.fc32.noarch.rpm and dnfdragora-updater-1.1.1-6.fc32.noarch.rpm corrected the problem.
I'll see about entering a bugzilla on this

While preparing to enter the Bugzilla report I researched the existing bugs (more thoroughly apparently) and found this one
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1823184
The fix/workaround is to delete the file ~/.config/dnfdragora.yaml
A new file is created when you run dnfdragora the next time.
