In FC4, the F10 key is bound to bring up the menubar. How do I get rid of this? I use MC a lot and need the F10 key. lol

To disable the key in the GNOME terminal (F10 shortcut) go to the menu, select keyboard shortcuts, then check disable menu shortcut key (F10 by default) using mc a lot also is why I disable the menu shortcut myself.

Oh my. I thought for sure that I had tried that but it appears my brain took a vacation. :)
Thank you for your help.

I still have this problem. I'm getting a menu at the location of the mouse pointer. It has options like open terminal, open tab, close window etc. Same as the right-click menu. Could this be a VNC thing?

I cannot remember how long the setting has been there. I needed to disable the shortcut for some time. Why there needs to be a shortcut for a terminal menu always made me wonder. The shortcut should be off by default, in my opinion.

I've always wondered if there was anybody out there using MC, and why is it being still shipped with FC. Now I know.

I still do most of my server admin tasks through SSH so I use MC a lot. Every now and then, I will use VNC and thus the question.
Is there a better tool than MC for the CLI?
