What problem are you having? cdfs appears to work fine for me.
$ uname -r 2.4.22-1.2174.nptl
$ \ wget http://www.elis.rug.ac.be/~ronsse/cdfs/download/cdfs-2.4.20.tar.bz2
I managed to get cdfs-2.6.3 to work for me. 2.4.20 didn't really work. if the 2.4 or 2.6 is anything to go by, by that they reference the kernel used, then _no_wonder_ I'm using 2.6.3 kernel
Hey.. Now I can copy my VCD as Files!!! :) Thanks for the Tip.

You're welcome. I managed to do some ripping using mencoder afterwards w/o the cdfs. :-p
After mounting, something like
mencoder vcd://1 -o vcd1.avi -ovc lavc -lavcopts \ vcodec=mpeg4:vhq:vbitrate=1800 -oac copy
helped! :-)
Disclaimer: ----------- But hey this tip is to enable you to make a legal copy of your own vcd for your personal use. Do not hold me responsible if you make illegal copies. :-p
With kind regards,
Didier.
