Hello: I need help with two topics: a) install two Fedora40. Therefore I have two EFI and that creates 'problems'
Is there anything I can do so the PC doesn't get 'confused'...?
b) I would like to mount a partition from Ftab...
├─sda7 ext4 1.0 from fedora_37 8ff104f3-ee9g-41be-9b2e-2b97d88f17cb 83.3G 51% /run/media/soles_40/from fedora_37                       /dev/sda7: LABEL="from fedora_37" UUID="8ff104f3-ee9g-41be-9b2e-2b97d88f17cb"                                BLOCK_SIZE="4096" TYPE="ext4" PARTUUID="2ef79c09-c5a1-5943-0722-10f22g41633e"
When I mount it... the mount command tells me: /dev/sda7 on /run/media/soles_40/from fedora_37 type ext4 (rw,nosuid,nodev,relatime,seclabel,errors=remount-ro,uhelper=udisks2)
Do I write that in Ftab...?
I write in Spanish and 'san' Google translates. Thank you... Claudia Ah! and I know VERY little about computers... ;-)

Thank you so much...! :-)
So the two things I need help with:
the first I did two installations of Fedora40 on the same hard drive.
I didn't know how to do it so you don't have to create in each of the facilities the directory? /efi.
├─sda1 vfat FAT16 EFI 0B9B-8F19
├─sda8 vfat FAT32 boot 0566-61F4 /dev/sda8: LABEL_FATBOOT="boot" LABEL="boot" UUID="0533-61F4" BLOCK_SIZE="512" TYPE="vfat" PARTLABEL=" EFI System Partition" PARTUUID="916a4cb1-8f50-42c7-92be-dc53d80a4bdb"
So when the machine starts up it tells me something about two 'journal'... I don't know what...
I wish I could fix it just to have it done well (if it could...)
The other thing I don't understand It's what I have to write in the fstab to tell you that when you start... Also start a partition: /sda7... which is not /home...
If you could tell me that I have to write with the mount command to mount it manually from the terminal... I would like it more... :-)
Well... I'm going to ask san google translate to translate this to save you work... do you think...?
----------------------------
¡Muchas gracias...! :-)
Entonces las dos cosicas con las que necesito ayuda:
la primera es que hice dos instalaciones de Fedora40 en el mismo disco duro.
No supe como hacer para no tener que crear en cada una de las instalaciones el ¿directorio? /efi.
├─sda1 vfat FAT16 EFI 0B9B-8F19
├─sda8 vfat FAT32 boot 0566-61F4 /dev/sda8: LABEL_FATBOOT="boot" LABEL="boot" UUID="0533-61F4" BLOCK_SIZE="512" TYPE="vfat" PARTLABEL=" EFI System Partition" PARTUUID="916a4cb1-8f50-42c7-92be-dc53d80a4bdb"

/run is a tmpfs area. That mount point will only persist until the next reboot. It would be better to make a mount point somewhere permanent.
Also, isn't /run/media/<username>/<mountname> where auto-mounting occurs?
You can get clashes if *you* manually do things where auto-mounting operates.

As others have said, Dolphin is using a temporary mount point (under /run/media, which is used for removable media). To mount the drive permanently you should create a permanent mount point somewhere else, e.g. as /Fedora47, and put that in /etc/fstab.

Two installations of Fedora can be run on the same system With each installation on a separate drive. The installation to be executed can then be started from the bios. The partitions /boot/efi, /boot and /root are all unique to the installation. Can even include Windows.

I know that. Which is why I asked the OP if they really wanted two installations. Given that they are a beginning user, it seemed unlikely.
/boot/efi is indeed mounted on Fedora, basically so it can be modified, and I should have remembered that. Nevertheless, its function is as a partition which can be booted from the BIOS, i.e. it's not a directory within the ext4 (or whatever) Linux filesystem.

I need help with two topics: a) install two Fedora40. Therefore I have two EFI and that creates 'problems'
Is there anything I can do so the PC doesn't get 'confused'...?
On a multiboot PC with only Linux, only one ESP is required, and only one bootloader is required. After the first Linux installation on a PC here, bootloaders are excluded from most if not all. I have 14 PCs with multiple Fedora installations on a single HDD or SSD. On none of them do I have a Fedora bootloader installed.
