Hi,
i'm searching for the rakd tools for my IBM Rapid Access Keyboard. Unfortunately i "lost" the tool and the website (http://packetrot.com/bin/rakd/) is now a porn site :(
Does somebody know the new site or can mail me the tool?

Hi!
I do not have those tools nor a link to it, but I have the same keyboard. On Debian I used http://lineak.sourceforge.net/ to set the multimedia keys while now on FC1 with gnome 2.4 I set them inside the Gnome options.

Sorry Sturla, this was a misinformation by me. I did not use these keys for so long time. I forgot that under menu option Preferences -> Key Combinations you only can use regular keys.
I think I mixed up myself with the experience when I did upgrade a Debian box to a recent Gnome version and there I had the build-in possibility to use the multimedia keys. But please do not ask me why that option is not available on Fedora's Gnome too.
So lineak is still a tool of choice on FC1.

On Debian I used hotkeys (for it was included), now I'm using this rpm. http://ardentworks.com/packages/lineakd-0.7.2-1.i386.rpm
while now on FC1 with gnome 2.4 I set them inside the
Gnome options.

Someone wrote a quick howto.
