I don't generally use Gnome/Workstation.
However, I do note that the RStudio software doesn't show up in
"Software". A search in that
application shows nothing. As you've said.
There is another package management GUI called
"gnome-packagekit-installer" and it does show up
in that GUI when you search for it.
So, yes, I'd file a bugzilla against "Gnome Software". And, then
either use the alternate GUI or
use dnf. FWIW, I don't use the installer GUI for KDE either. I only
use dnf from the command line.
same here, and dnf install rstudio appears to work (fwiw)
