After downloading the iso, I did a check using
sha1sum F11-Beta-x86_64-Live-KDE.iso
<ftp://allotter.yandex.net/fedora/linux/releases/test/11-Beta/Live/x86_64/...>
and got the following output:
a7bdb8f6af60902971511fd3cf5fb242c6818c01 F11-Beta-x86_64-Live-KDE.iso
re-downloaded the iso,
did the same check and got the same output:
a7bdb8f6af60902971511fd3cf5fb242c6818c01 F11-Beta-x86_64-Live-KDE.iso
Am I checking incorrectly or is the sha1sum posted on the website wrong?
Appreciate some advice.
Thanks.

gpg checking downloads
by Tom Horsley
The torrents for the Fedora downloads include gpg signed
checksum files (SHA1SUM for old releases, *-CHECKSUM for
fedora 11 beta and wot-not).
It would sure be handy to have instructions directly
on the download pages that tell you how to actually
verify the signature and check the checksums :-).
Is this a good place to complain about that, or is
another list or bugzilla component better?
(copied this from my fedora-list posting, might want to
check the thread for additional replies)
