Got a little problem with signing up to ask.fedoraproject.org.
Call me old fashion, old school or just a paranoid control freak, but i
dont like the idea of getting me an OpenID, just to be able to login at
ask.fedoraproject. I *do* like to keep my passwords my passwords, how
trustful the "password-keeper" may be.
I don't have a facebook, twitter, identi.ca, google, yahoo, aol,
technorati, wordpress, blogger, livejournal, claimid, nor any other
account at a website of a profile-gathering company (yes, you may call
me old-fashion too), i simply don't like those 'services'.
Shall there be a 'normal' login-option to?

Ask Fedora http://ask.fedoraproject.org is now running the latest Askbot
with a new default theme. Due to change in the template and theme
format, we haven't applied a custom Fedora theme. Still looking for
help from someone with knowledge on CSS and maybe design custom buttons etc
We are looking for help on creating a mascot, logo. If you are
interested in participating, do let me know.

Mr. V. Partap Singh Salathia
I've been a fedora contributor for almost 5 years now, but I've never
worked on this area of the project :).
I've set up a draft of the distribution process that I'd like you folks
to please look at and comment on. There is a need to somehow make the
pages dynamic, so that folks can't bookmark them. I don't know how to do
this on the wiki :/ The idea of this work flow is to ensure that people
exhaust all channels of obtaining fedora before jumping on to *free*
media. I'm sure all of you are way better than me at websites, so please
do have a look and see what can be done here. I'll be most grateful :)
My name is Michael Patterson and this is my informal introduction to you
all! So who am I? I am a software engineer / mathematics student with a
background in web development. I have experience with front end / back end
development for clients, as I've done some web development contracting work
for Baylor Univ and some other smaller colleges. I figured that since I
have experience in web development that this group would be the easiest for
me to begin contributing to the Fedora project/community.
If there is anything else you would like to know, feel free to contact
me! A group sponsorship wouldn't hurt either. :P
Hi website team,
Fedora Spins download page have a problem in Japanese.
h3 header strings "Direct Download" are displayed
at wrong position as an attachment (in Japanese).
As far as I looked, this problem occurs in
particular language (like Japanese).
By my understanding, span element is inline
element, so it may be related with this problem.
An inline element can't include block element like h4.
Alternatively, using div block element looks good.
Can you change HTML as below (and related CSS)
for all spins download page?
- <h3>Torrent Download</h3>
- <span class="download-option" id="opt1">
- <span class="download-option" id="opt2">
- <h3>Direct Download</h3>
+ <h3>Torrent Download</h3>
+ <div class="download-option" id="opt1">
