There is a section of export regulations shown at the bottom of the
fedoraproject.org/get-fedora page. Currently it's not set up to be
translatable. Is this on purpose? Can I let the translators know they
shouldn't worry about translating this content?

I actually think that was a request to have it not translated but I can't
find the email that said it :-/ lets see if legal can re-confirm it.

My experience with this elsewhere has been that it is non-translatable
as it is a legal warning... remembers the days when that had to be
pretty much on every FTP site download.

Yes, this is intentional. That is legal text, and cannot be translated
like the rest of the website (the translation might not end up
appropriate or binding).

No, this is actually fine, as stating the copyright like that isn't
strictly "legal text", nor is it a requirement (we don't suddenly lose
copyright on the work if this statement is missing). It is informational
in nature, and the translation of "and others" is not likely to grow
some meaning that we do not intend.
