Comment (by soulspecter):
At the end of section 14.2 I think we should make note that "When you have
finished selecting packages, click Close to save your optional package
selections and return to the main package selection screen."
Also, in section 14.2.3, the bullets would look more structured if they
were indented under the heading "All Fedora installations include the
following network services:" I was not able to make this change in the
attached XML file.

Fedora Documentation - Installation Guide

Installation Guide : Remarks
by A. Mani
I had a look at Ch.1--3 of the draft mentioned in
>> Instead, I'd like to invite folks to help review the F10 *DRAFT*
>> installation guide (available at
>> http://jsmith.fedorapeople.org/drafts/install-guide-en_US/). There have
$2.2 'approriate' <spelling>
$3.2 Processors
VIA C4 ?!
VIA C3, C7, AMD Geode and Longson are not mentioned
$3.3
What about those who want to install from iso images from hard disks
(without burning them)?
Part of $6.1 can be shifted here
$6.2 "Before you begin installation from a hard drive, check the
partition type to ensure that Fedora can read it. To check a
partition's file system under Windows, use the Disk Management tool.
To check a partition's file system under Linux, use the fdisk utility.
..."
does not say mention the supported file systems.
Best

Fedora IG test day TODAY!
by Paul W. Frields
This is probably a good opportunity for Fedora Docs folks to participate
with an eye toward helping identify, file, and handle bugs in our
Installation Guide -- places where our text and advice doesn't match
today's reality of Anaconda for F10.
I'm sorry I can't be there, since I am participating in panels at the
FSOSS conference today. Please take advantage of today by visiting
#fedora-qa on IRC Freenode, and communicating with the testers!

Much more emphasis on Fedora users needed in wiki
by Valent Turkovic
Hi,
I have looked and didn't find previous mentions of this issue, if there was
discussion on this topic please point me in the right direction.
I looked, and looked and couldn't find info about specific topics for Fedora
on Fedorproject wiki pages. For example howto setup bluetooth and gps on
Fedora, or how to setup wireless from command line on Fedora etc...
Are there some wiki pages for users? As I see it the Fedora wiki is made for
Fedora project and not for Fedora users :(
I just love how Gentoo community has make their wiki pages a trully
excellent source for their users - just look at their blueetooth howto [2]
and wireless howto [3] pages
I have looked at fedora drafts [3] and I see some promising docs there but
I'm not aware of wiki pages that are made for users so that they can use
them for.
I found some online discussion about this already [4]. Atleast link to these
pages from main Fedora wiki page.
If it is possible please make an effort to edit the main wiki page and make
Fedora guides and howto wiki pages, look through some of drafts posted
allready and just ask Fedora community to add their new stuff there.
I personally posted howto few months ago and it still sits in drafts :( And
to me it looks like nobody of "authority" even looks at those pages and that
really demotivates me to make new howtos and contribute to Fedora
documentation
Just look at all the great howtos and guides on Fedora forum [5], but people
need to know abou it, and it is a shame that these great information is not
served from Fedora project pages because people probably expect it there and
not on some random forum :(
Cheers,
Valent.
