I understand that, and I understand that I can't expect fedora to have
mp3 decoder on their hosted servers but I thought you have freedom of
speech, no? Weren't there some court cases that said that you can
write anything? Is it illegal to put this on the fedora wiki:
"rpm -ivh
http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-9.rpm"
or it I leave that line out is this illegal:
"yum install -y gstreamer-plugins-ugly gstreamer-plugins-bad"
Why?
This is not about freedom of speech, it's about the DMCA, patent
encumbered code, and a whole host of other issues, none of which we need
to go into *yet again* on this particular list.
