The keyboard backlight on my T450s seems to light up on interrupts. Fn+Spacebar turns it off again. However, that is a somewhat irksome thing.
What should I be doing to ensure that the backlight is turned on when I choose to? On Fedora 23 this was never an issue.

I am too experiencing this same issue on Lenovo T450. It randomly lights up, I saw few times kernel panic message as well but other times I had to hard reboot my laptop. I used only Fedora 24 on this new laptop. I used to keep updated my system daily. I think when F24 was frozen by that time this was working fine but then not sure if updates from testing repository is causing some issue.
I did not get time to debug this issue but probably can do coming weekend. I am too looking for a fix for this issue.
