FSL installations in India

My earlier post reg. FSL installations in India seems to have been
"lost" or blocked. I send the same once again. since I am seriously
looking for help.

I was wondering if there are any institutions in
Hyderabad/Bangalore/Chennai/Pune which have implemented in FSL and have
used OSSTMM in the classroom. Would it be possible to visit any of these
institutions and meet the people concerned, to share their experience.

i am uncertain if there are Security Testing Labs at all in Universities
independed from the OS - idea anyone?
Would be really good for the Fedora Project itself to help Partha in his
adventure building a Security Lab in his university based on Fedora!

even if the use of OSSTMM as a Methodology and Metric itself is free
under the cc-by-nd and the OML - i find it difficult to establish
awareness for the OSSTMM in India - there are not much ambassadorial
forces in india for that topic.
As long as the  Industry or Government does not pick it up this will
hardly change. In Germany the Federal Office for Information Security
has recommended it in their Guideline for Penetration Tests, since then
it is well established and the quasi-standard also for other countries.
There is only one official institution i know in india who is doing
OSSTMM/ISECOM teaching and official certification trainings, this is
Koenig Solutions. I know that, because i was the lucky guy who trained
the first OPST/OPSA in India - of course as part fo my non-profit
activity to spread the OSSTMM in India

i really wish Partha luck and offered him my help, but please, i am far
away here in Germany and if you can help him, do so!

Thanks Joerg for your detailed response and support. In fact, I am
asking all this,  because I am hoping to build a security
testing/teaching lab in Kathmandu (Nepal), not in India. So, that adds
one more dimension of difficulty to my ambition. I need help, and that
too, urgently, from the Fedora community in India.
