I've a problem to upgrade my fully updated Fedora 26 to Fedora 27.
dnf system-upgrade download --refresh --releasever=27 gives
Problem: package grub2-efi-1:2.02-0.40.fc26.i686 requires grub2-tools = 1:2.02-0.40.fc26, but none of the providers can be installed
- grub2-tools-1:2.02-0.40.fc26.i686 does not belong to a distupgrade repository
- problem with installed package grub2-efi-1:2.02-0.40.fc26.i686
What to do for a successful upgrade?
Today I tried upgrading my x86 laptop from Fedora 26 to 27 but it failed
with the following...
root@nellie 12:33:40 ~ # fedora-upgrade
Going to upgrade your Fedora to version 27.
You may want to read Release Notes:
Hit Enter to continue or Ctrl + C to cancel.
Going to run 'dnf upgrade' before upgrading.
This step is highly recommended, but can be safely skipped.
Hit Enter to continue, Ctrl + C to cancel or S + Enter to skip.
Last metadata expiration check: 4:47:19 ago on Thu 16 Nov 2017 07:48:49 GMT.
Nothing to do.
Going to resolve old .rpmsave and .rpmnew files before upgrading.

Choose upgrade method
* offline - this use dnf-plugin-system-upgrade plugin and requires
- this is official upgrade method
* online - this use distro-sync and require only one reboot
- this is not offically tested by FedoraQA

So what gives? Is "fedora-upgrade" no longer a supported method?
An attempt to upgrade failed, logging the following entries:
dnf: Failed to synchronize cache for repo 'my', disabling.
Followed by a bunch of:
"Unable to match package <name>"
"Error: Unable to match some of packages"
The "my" repo contains locally-built packages. The repo is on the server
being upgraded here. Normally, apache starts and provides access to the repo
over http. Nothing exotic.
system-upgrade downloaded all the packages from the "my" report without any
problems, but "system-upgrade reboot" apparently rebooted the server, and
the reboot apparently tried to sync again with the repo, but, of course,
since the repo is down it failed.
So, how can I proceed with the upgrade, with this situation? Copy the "my"
repo to another server, and point to it? That seems awkward. Why is "system
upgrade" reboot trying to resync everything, that should've been
"download"'s job, I would think.
Hello I just tried to upgrade from F26 to F27.
rpmfusion-free and rmpfusion-nonfree Enabled, as with previous dnf system-upgrade ... from F25 to F26 without problems.
Today I've the following issue:
sudo dnf system-upgrade reboot, reboots two times, but upgrade doesn't start.

Thank you for any hints
Some of the apps I use only close when selecting quit from the tray for
example. I thought it was unintrusive and let you know what's running
among those apps running in the background you might have forgotten about.
What do you guys recommend to replace it? I was ok with its location (I
do not want it on the top menu bar next to wifi and all.
I have been using yp/nis for ages, but with fc27 things stopped working?
Has anybody managed to get ypbind/nis working with fc27? If so, how?
To me, yp/nis seems to be in an untested shape and unusable in fc27.
I upgraded two systems from F26 to F27 (a pretty standard setup with
RpmFusion addditional repos) this afternoon and everything went really
smooth. Tnx to who worked on it

I just installed F27 on my wife's new laptop last night (HP Pavilion 8th
gen Core i5 w/ Intel video) and the audio is not working.
I was going to check/tweak the settings via remote X from my work computer
which I've done several times in F26, however when I try to run an app it
opens on her screen and not in my Xming session on my screen.
I usually use "ssh -XC <user>@<host>"
Anyone know of any changes in F27 that would cause this?
