Does the version of Windows you're using support Internet Printing
Protocol? (IPP) This is the preferred method. You can also use a
Samba connected Windows printer. The form for that is:
smb://<name>/<printer>
smb://mary/lexmark
Probably the easiest way is to use the CUPS configuration web
interface. On the Linux machine, connect to
http://localhost:631/
I have a question about the answer to this question. To do this does the
printer on Windows have to be configured as a shared printer?
