Interesting, I've only dealt with GDM. Can you switch users with that configuration?
Because with GDM, console 1 is the user login screen, so switch users changes back to
that console to login a different user, leaving the other user session still available.
Yes, SDDM allows for and gives you a "switch user" option in the
"Leave" menu of KDE. I
don't use it since I've no use for that option.
I'll give GDM a try after my dinner as well as seeing if switching user has any effect
on
the VC options.
