Good to know, thanks. It's just good to know there is a confirmed bug,
so I'm confident it is being worked on, and a fix will be available in
the near future.
From what I understood from Máirín's response, the bug in plymouth
is
worked upon. But there is no way to tell the reason for the kernel
panic. I think you should still try to investigate the reason for
that. I am sorry I don't have any suggestions for you to try. Luckily
I have never faced a kernel panic myself. :(
I checked the logs after the reboot, and there wasn't anything
useful
from syslog or the X11 logs.
