I reverted back to the original stuff and clean my yum cache and

what ports yum is using?
Thanks

I tried to fetch repomd.xml from one of the URLs posted above and got
the following:
--14:11:58--
http://mirror.newnanutilities.org/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/6/x86_64/...:
=> `repomd.xml:'
Resolving mirror.newnanutilities.org... 216.130.149.8

Using Firefox I went to the site,
http://mirror.newnanutilities.org/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/, and
found that directory updates/6/ does not exist. Fix your mirrors and
you should be OK.
