Thanks for that link.
I've been dreading the switch to wayland in KDE since my previous
attempts to use it failed miserably.
I need to use the nVidia drivers as nouveau doesn't play nice with my
GPU. But the section addressing
proprietary drivers gives me hope.
I hope KDE does not move to Wayland unless
Wayland is reworked. My
experience with Wayland in Gnome with Fedora running in a Windows hosted
Virtualbox VM is that it does not scale to 4K properly (there a
resolution less than 4K where the failure starts but I haven't worked
out yet exactly what the resolution is), and this scaling issue happens
with Ubuntu and also with Megaeia.
