Lynx is NOT automatically installed
You have to indicate that you want it installed
You can install it using your software manager start > System Settings
Add-Remove Apps

I am using FC2 and have lynx installed from the basic installation. It is;
lynx-2.8.5-15
It is located in /usr/bin/lynx
