[fedora-india] systemd breaks network on bootup

I am running Fedora 14 (yum upgrade from Fedora 13).

Just installed systemd (yum install systemd  i.e.  
systemd-10-2.fc14.1.i686).

The network fails on bootup. The fixes on various websites suggest the 
use of NetworkManager.

I avoid NetworkManager, and like the plain, old and simple "network" 
scripts.

Is there any fix possible without "NetworkManager" ...?

Is anything equal to "ntsysv" available for systemd ...?
