Subject: [PlanetCCRMA] fedora 17: jackd always starts in verbose mode Date: Sat, 02 Jun 2012 13:08:05 -0700 From: Fernando Lopez-Lezcano nando@ccrma.Stanford.EDU To: planetccrma@ccrma.Stanford.EDU
Hi all, I just filed: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=827748
Fedora 17's jackd always starts in verbose mode (at least in my tests on x86_64 - it also happens in other distros). There is an ongoing thread here:
http://linuxaudio.org/mailarchive/lau/2012/5/29/190667
This is linked to gcc 4.7.0 and the handling of the verbose flag in jack's code. We should come up with a patch asap...
