Hi Folks,
The DEI Team came together for a call on Tuesday Dec 7th and we had a great meeting! We checked in our progress over the last year, our direction moving forward, structure for a new bi-weekly call, and reviewed a couple tickets. Check out the meeting minutes to learn more details about our discussion [0]. Also you probably noticed I wrote "DEI Team" because we have agreed to rebrand :D if you want to get involved make sure to check out the associated ticket [1].
We also agreed to move forward with a bi-weekly video call.* Please fill out the whenisgood[2] by Monday December 20th *so I can schedule our first call before I go out for the Winter Holidays. It covers the months of January & February so I can get a good idea of everyone's scheduling patterns and try to find a great time for everyone :) *Make sure to set your timezone before inputting your availability.*

Happy New Year!
We have 7 responses to the whenisgood (8 if you include my availability). I am going to go ahead and make a proposal about how we can schedule the call moving forward.
Monday seems to be the day with the most availability. We have a couple folks only available early in the day, and a couple folks only available later in the day, and a couple folks who are more flexible. I would propose we adopt two times that alternate. So there will be one "early" call and one "late" call every month.
If we went this way, January's schedule would be: Monday January 17th at 1PM UTC (8AM EST) Monday January 31th at 6PM UTC (1PM EST)
How does this sound to folks? Please drop your feedback on the thread or feel free reach out to me privately with any questions/concerns.

Time Zones are tough :( While this seems dividing the already small group, I am guessing this is the only thing we can do to make things a bit more inclusive

Hi Folks,
The DEI Team came together for a call on Tuesday Dec 7th and we had a great meeting!

Both times work for me - I will be able to join if something new doesn't come up.
How does this sound to folks? Please drop your feedback on the thread or feel free reach out to me privately with any questions/concerns.

Hi all,

Happy new year :)
Both times work for me - I will be able to join if something new doesn't come up.
How does this sound to folks? Please drop your feedback on the thread or feel free reach out to me privately with any questions/concerns.
Best,
