Multiple Hardware Ethernet listings in dhcpd.conf

I'm trying to get my server to correctly assign me my fixed ip address when I connect up via wired or wireless. I thought I could specify multiple hardware ethernet listings in my host section, but that doesn't seem to be working. How can I get my server to dish out my fixed address on two interfaces? Bear in mind that I realize I can only use one at a time. Thanks. -- -=/>Thom

Help to use twin 1 gig lan ports

I've just purchased a server board with two 1 gig lan ports. I would like to set one up for inbound traffic and the other for outbound traffic. Can this be done?? If this isn't possible is there another way to use these two ports to enhance network through-put?? Thanks, Jim

web-based access to the shell?

Is there a way to access the shell, of course securely using SSL, through a web browser. I was thinking that there would be a program already a part of fedora core packages or extras, or a combination of various different packages, that could implement this. Being able to access the shell through a standard web browser would be really convenient and I'm sure it been thought of before and there already some open-source implementation of this. Ferindo

serial terminal communications app?

I tried to search the list archive for this, and I must be typing in the wrong search terms. What terminal apps for serial communication, for example, to the serial port on the back of a Cisco router, do people like to use in FC3? Simplicity is important, since I'm hoping to get a non-linux person to reset IOS to the defaults on some routers we're going to decommission & sell. If there's a nice gui app out there, that would be fantastic. Thanks a lot, Matt

Keyboard problem

Something have happened last days since I can't hold down a button to repeat... For example, if I want to erase a lot of text I have written or write several of one character, I have to press several times on the button, can't hold it in and get result. This is a new problem, havnt had this before... Anyone?

Use anaconda procedure for partiton and format a new HD

Hi, is possible to use the anaconda procedure (/usr/lib/anaconda/*) to format, patition, and create LVM volumes on a new disk, taking the layout info from a file whit anaconda KS syntax? Hello Again, I am running a java application which expects the sun jre to sucessfully execute itself. I have these rpms from default installation: 1} java-1.4.2-gcj-compat-src-1.4.2.0-40jpp_31rh.FC4.1 2} java-1.4.2-gcj-compat-devel-1.4.2.0-40jpp_31rh.FC4.1 3} gcc-java-4.0.1-4.fc4 Do I need these and how do I circumvent these or shall I remove them.
