[Insight] Calendar use cases, planning
by Peter Borsa
Hi folks!
First, I know that we talked about Insight calendar use cases before
but I want to twirl up this conversation. Let's see what we've gotten
so far.[1]
There are a few great short term use cases. I installed a basic
calendar on my instance, if you would like to see it, message me. I
think we can reach these "goals". I'm showing a possible solution.
Imagine that you've a content, this contain some useful fields like
content's title, date, team, type, region and release version. In
Views module, you can expose these fields so a visitor can filter
them. I don't dive deeper, it might be boring.
I would like to achieve our short term goals by the end of FUDCon Blacksburg.
Okay, but how can we do it?! It's simple. Talk about it, share your
ideas. We're trying to solve problems but we need your thoughts,
ideas, help.
A stray idea, like drupal office hour[2], I would like to do something
like that, I'll be always available on IRC in an appointed time, I'm
not sure, when it will be. What do you think? Could you join to me in
order to fix bugs / plan / share ideas, codes.

Mailing list setting: how to efficiently enable cross ML discussions?
by Kévin Raymond
I there,
We started a discussion (forgotten in the wild) on the docs mailing
list[1] about a way to enable cross mailing list discussions.
Do someone has a clever solution?
The problem is that sometimes people need to write to a specific
mailing list. But he will need to register.
Or someone will include a secondary mailing list as CC as they are
concerned, but he also need to be in its members.
Could we add a general rule to all lists to allow @fedoraproject aliases?
Is there a way to permanently add an address email to the group
member, only on a specific thread (like that he would receive answers
even if we reply only to the mailing list?
I don't think so…
But I read from Kevin that a new mailman would be in production… Oh,
the 28… It is!? Is there some great new features for that??

[Insight] My Insight development site
by Peter Borsa
Hey!
So, my current devel/testing site can be found at: http://insight.asrob.net/
If you need credentials, leave a message on IRC(nick: asrob) or
compose an email to me. Test it, please.
Any thoughts, ideas are appreciated. There are a lot of work with
Insight, for example, we need a new theme, some patches to our
authfas, mediawiki_api modules.
So if you are interested, please attend at one of the Offce hours, or
one of our meetings.--

[RFE] creating a meeting reminder cron job for all teams
by Kévin Raymond
As suggested on Trac[1], here is a thread letting us discuss more
about this idea.
The fact:
* People send reminder manually, sometimes late, sometimes wrong
* People forget sometimes to send the reminder.
* Many teams are doing that.
* It takes time.
* Sender need to subscribe to mailing lists
* If there is a new wiki page for each meeting (agenda), we can't find
the last one easily!
Letting teams registering events on a cron will improve that.
We could use the meeting page[2] (which would need to be updated!) to
get the meeting info.
Parameters:
* Meeting time
* How far should the reminder be sent (in days?)
* Meeting frequency, schedule
* To which list the reminder should be sent
* Static link to meeting details.
For example (as we already do in the French team):
===
This mail is a reminder for today's meeting for the French speaking community.
2011-11-28 / 18:30 UTC
IRC: freenode
#fedora-meeting
The agenda is located at:
http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Réunions_hebdomadaires_de_la_French_team
===
As kevin said, including the time could be wrong because of daylight
saving time.
Hence the static meeting page is really important.
Lots of meeting follow a generic agenda, there is no need to create a
new page each time (take a look at [3]), the wiki history keep the old
meeting agenda for us. Therefor the meeting agenda should also be
included in the static meeting page.
Of course, if this is implemented, all teams (amba, infra, docs…)
should use it, else this is not really useful.
What do you think?

To last Drupal module rename reviews
by Jon Ciesla
Hey kids, there are two outstanding rename reviews for Drupal 6 modules
that got stalled over a disagreement about Epoch, that's been settled, in
my mind at any rate, by the lack of issues in the renaming of the other
Drupal 6 modules. Could someone, if you have time, take these over and
finished them out so we can get them done? They've been sitting since
March, and then I can finally close the drupal->drupal6 rename tracker. :)
Thanks in advance for this and in retrospect for all your work expanding
the Drupal stack!

[Insight] Can't make meeting today
by Paul W. Frields
Hi guys,
Unfortunately I won't make most of today's Insight meeting. I would
love it if someone wanted to run the meeting in my absence if needed,
or if people want to defer to next week that's fine too. I'm going to
spend part of the day working on the authfas module to make it more D7
friendly. You can find me online later, although I will probably not
be around from about 4:00-4:30pm ET. Sorry for the late notice.
