Okay folks,
So, I'm no longer in rural Canada cutting down trees, so I can do some FAD planning.
And we need it.
Schzamm. I basically just went through and got 90% of the planning done. Cool, eh? Here
is an update of (most) everything.
Completely awesome. From the Infrastructure side, this is the first
time that I've heard about this (which isn't necessarily a bad thing -
I may have missed it in the flow, that's entirely possible). Anyhow,
I'm three things that you can use (I think):
1) sysadmin-main :)
2) Somewhat local (NYC - a quick Amtrak ride away from Boston, and
MBTA out to Needham from there)
3) Experience with FAD's
What I would need from you is budget to get me there, a hotel room,
and that's about it :)
Note that I don't have much experience with Java as a programming
language, however, from a former life I do have experience deploying
Java apps.
I'm somewhat limited in my availability outside of evenings/weekends -
I do have a rather demanding $DAYJOB, and can't get on IRC (or gmail)
from work at any rate generally. But if you send mail, bug me on IRC
(jds2001), or send carrier pigeons, I'll generally respond in some
reasonable amount of time. :)
